Big bucks and a seat in an upcoming $100,000 buy-in Triton Poker tournament are up for grabs in the inaugural Onyx Super High Roller Series Cyprus presented by the Onyx Club.

The series at Merit Royal Diamond runs from August 9-21 and features a mix of pot-limit Omaha and no-limit hold'em high-stakes tournaments, along with some juicy cash game action. Major Poker Action in Cyprus

Cyprus is the destination for the first major post-World Series of Poker (WSOP) high roller series. There are 12 high-stakes tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from $10,400 to $102,000, all taking place inside a luxurious resort along the Mediterranean Sea. The series kicks off exclusively with no-limit hold'em tournaments until August 19 when the first of two pot-limit Omaha events begin. There are two $102,000 buy-in tournaments scheduled — one NLH (Aug 16) and one PLO (Aug 20). Play concludes with the final day of the $51,000 PLO Championship, a $2,000,000 guaranteed tournament.

An Onyx Player of the Series award will be handed out to the individual who accumulates the most points throughout the series. The winner will take home a $110,000 Triton Poker Jeju package, which includes a $100,000 Main Event seat and $10,000 in travel expenses. Triton Jeju runs from September 7-22, and the Main Event starts on September 16.
