Ethan "Rampage" Yau says he's "ready to quit" three weeks into the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) after numerous early eliminations and zero WSOP final tables.
But don't expect the poker vlogger to actually quit the bracelet chase. Rampage has racked up quite a few cashes this summer, but all for small amounts, and he's fired more bullets than Scott Seiver in a Flip & Go.
Yau's fans and detractors often give him a hard time about his failures at the poker table. But he has produced some quality tournament results throughout his career, including a 2020 WSOP Online bracelet and a $25,200 World Poker Tour (WPT) High Roller win for $894,240 in 2022.
The high-stakes cash game regular who recently bought a share of The Lodge Card Club in Texas has six cashes in bracelet events this summer. But none for more than four buy-ins, and in some events it took multiple bullets to earn the cash.

The anti-sweaters are feeling pretty good right about now. Rampage has $58,955 in cashes since the WSOP began on May 27, approximately $13,000 of which occurred outside the WSOP at Wynn Las Vegas and Venetian. But he's in the red.
Rampage, who said on X that he lost $1.8 million in 18 months, busted quickly in some events. He was eliminated within minutes in Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty, and then failed to cash on his second $10,000 bullet.
The ClubWPT Gold ambassador busted on the first hand the following day in Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed. But he'd min-cash on his second bullet to break even.
He's had some — not many — breaks go his way this summer, however. In a $2,500 tournament, on the bubble, he paired up on the river to win a race to stay alive, and would go on to finish 130th place for $5,271.

The high-stakes player isn't down big for the series. He was only down around $10,000 as of June 11, although it appears he's increased that number since his last update. But he's only one deep run away from making the anti-sweaters regret betting against him.
Rampage, however, tweeted on Tuesday following a rough day that he's "ready to quit." The YouTuber with nearly 340,000 subscribers has taken on some poker challenges in the past. Most recently, he set a goal to profit $1 million at the poker table in a year, but finished up just $28,000.
