A draw pile is formed from the remaining cards after each player is dealt a predetermined number of cards, typically seven. Players start the game by taking turns selecting cards from the discard or draw piles. During their trummy howurn, players can combine their cards to form legitimate runs or sets, which adds another level of strategy since they have to choose when to play & when to hold onto their cards. Three or four cards of the same rank make up a set, whereas three or more cards of the same suit in a row make up a run. Because tracking discarded cards can reveal important information about an opponent's strategy, players must also be aware of their opponents' moves.
