Typically, mystery bounty tournaments are played as No-Limit Hold'em, the world's most popular poker variant. However, during the PokerStars Mystery Bounty Series, players can get their teeth into Pot-Limit Omaha, No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw, No-Limit 5-Card Draw, and even Pot-Limit Badugi events!

What's more, many of the 55 events have a unique twist regarding when the mystery bounties can be won. For example, the Ten Percenter sees mystery bounties put into play when only 10% of the field remains, while the Fabulous Forty's bounties can only be won when 40 or fewer players have chips. Similarly, the Final Table Bounties events make their mystery bounties available only to the finalists! These twists make it more likely that you will bag one of the bigger prizes if you reach the stage when they enter play.

$500,000 Guaranteed Mystery Bounty Main Event

No PokerStars tournament would be complete without a Main Event, and the Mystery Bounty Series has a $109 buy-in Main Event where $500,000 is guaranteed to be won. This two-day tournament shuffles up and deals at 6:05 p.m. BST on July 20, with Day 1 pausing 7 hours 20 minutes into play. Surviving players return to their seats at 6:05 p.m. BST on July 21.

If the $109 buy-in is out of your reach and you do not manage to secure a seat in the Mystery Bounty Series Main Event via one of the many satellites running around the clock, it is worth considering the more affordable Mini Main Event. This costs $11 to enter yet boasts a $125,000 guarantee on its prize pool.

Cards are in the air from 7:05 p.m. BST on July 20, with play ending on Day 1 6 hours 20 minutes later. Day 2 resumes at 7:05 p.m. BST on July 21, continuing until a champion is crowned.
