The top card is turned face-up to begin the discard pile, and the remaining cards make up the draw pile. Tossing a card from their hand, players alternately draw a cardstarburt slots from the draw or discard pile. The round goes on until someone organizes all of their cards into sets and runs, announcing "Rummy" and taking the win. Players draw and discard until they can form sets and runs if they are unable to do so. In the event that the draw pile runs out, the player with the fewest points in their hand wins.
