The Grosvenor Maybury Casino in Edinburgh will be bustling with action between June 17 and 22 when it welcomes back 888poker's UK Poker League (UKPL) tour. It has been 16 months since the UKPL last stopped in the Scottish capital, and 888poker is doing everything to ensure this latest edition of UKPL Edinburgh is bigger and better than ever.
UKPL Edinburgh kicks off at midday on June 17 with the first of three flights in the £250 buy-in, £50,000 guaranteed Opening Voyage. One of those flights, Day 1c, has a turbo blind structure if you don't want to spend a full day grinding.
A £1,100 buy-in, £50,000 guaranteed High Roller is the festival's largest buy-in event. It runs from June 19-20.
The series' crown jewel is the £560 buy-in UKPL Edinburgh Main Event, which carries a £100,000 guarantee on its prize pool. Last year, a field of 311 created a guarantee-busting £147,729 prize pool.
Main Event satellites are scheduled during the UKPL Edinburgh festival, and online at 888poker. If you're looking at the latter, you must hurry because they will be dropping out of the lobby soon.

Michael Kane left the 2024 edition of the UKPL Edinburgh festival as the biggest winner, courtesy of taking down the £560 Main Event. Kane banked £25,208 for his victory but could have won more had he not agreed to a three-way deal. That deal lessened the pay jumps and saw Helder Casacasena and Tom Jarry walk away with £24,866 and £21,965, respectively.
Two other champions turned their initial investments into prizes worth more than £10,000.
William Henderson triumphed in the £1,100 High Roller, outlasting 47 opponents to collect £13,620, while Barrie Greenan won £11,118 for his victory in the £250 Opening Voyage.
