Insights into their hands and possible tactics can be obtained by closely observing the cards they draw & discard. An opponent may be trying to finish a set or sequenctype of slotse involving those cards if, for instance, they routinely remove cards from the discard pile that match a specific suit or rank. Also, you can make better decisions about your own discards by keeping an eye on your opponents. Avoid throwing away any cards entirely if you see that your opponent is gathering a certain number of them.
