The aviator's road to recovery was a long and difficult one. As he diligently worked to regain strength & mobility, physical therapy sessions became a regular part of his routine. His perseverance wassatta iing praised for every tiny accomplishment, whether it was regaining full range of motion or walking a few steps unassisted. Nevertheless, he also struggled with feelings of responsibility & guilt for the events of that tragic flight. He started to think back on his life decisions and how they had brought him to this point as he made his way through both physical rehabilitation and emotional healing.
