Drawing cards from the discard pile or the stockpile in order to create valid sets or sequences is the goal. While a sequemotherboard slotsnce consists of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, a set consists of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. The players alternately draw and discard cards until one of them manages to meld all of their cards.
