A set number of cards are dealt to each player from the deck during a typical game of two to six players. Forming appropriate sets and sequences of cards & declaring or "melding" them before your opponents is the aim of the game. Three or four cards of the same rank but different suits make up a set, whereas three or more consecutive cards of the same suit make up a sequence.
