Each player is dealt a predetermined number of cards at the start of the game, typically 13. To begin the fruit slotsdiscard pile, the top card is positioned face-up, and the remaining cards form a draw pile. To make better hands by creating legitimate combinations, players alternately draw cards from the draw or discard piles.
