Share on Twitter Share on Facebook 3 min readPokerStars' Jet Set Season concluded over the weekend, and what better way to bring the curtain down on yet another incredible online poker tournament festival than with a $1 million guaranteed Main Event. Billed as the $109 Jet Set Season Finale, this event played out as a progressive bounty with a $1 million guarantee on its prize pool.
On Day 1, 10,170 players bought in before late registration ended, resulting in a guarantee-busting $1,017,000 prize pool. Half of that princely sum was divided and placed on the head of each entrant, with the other half shared by the top 1,663 finishers.
The Jet Set Season Finale was deep into the money when Day 1 ended, as only 124 players remained in contention for the $53,455 top prize plus, likely, five figures worth of those valuable progressive bounties.
A handful of PokerStars Red Spade-sporting grinders were among the initial entrants. Brazilian soccer ace Neymar fired four bullets, but he came away empty-handed. Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg finished in 1,711st place, essentially bubbling this massive event. He did, however, take home $100 in bounty payments.
Sebastian "peace&loove" Huber, captain of the winning 2025 SCOOP League team, finished in the money, his 1,332nd place exit coming with a total prize worth $239.

9 | Filip Daandi | Switzerland | $1,352 | $4,568 | $6,010 |
$6,010 was the least anyone would take home from the final table, which is the sum Switzerland's "Filip Daandi" got their hands on after falling by the wayside in ninth. "PatR1CkZ," one of two Hungarians in the final nine, crashed out in eighth for $9,209, the tournament's last four-figure prize.
Brazilian "GUIDAASCANIO" turned their $109 investment into $13,524 courtesy of a seventh-place finish, while "JoMkcee" of the United Kingdom came unstuck in sixth and had to console themselves with $14,742.

"LazyPiggy91," the other Hungarian finalist, saw their impressive deep run end in a fifth-place finish worth $21,459 before "maioor666" of the UK bowed out in fourth for a $31,730 addition to their PokerStars bankroll.
The Jet Set Finale progressed to the heads-up stage with the elimination of "@tetaschell" in third, a finish good for $46,617, thanks, partly, to $6,602 from the bounty prize pool.
"m.o_4515" of Ukraine locked horns with Brazil's "chasas1994" for a huge final bounty. Both players locked in at least $53,455 from the regular prize pool. When the dust had settled, "m.o_4515" was the last player standing. In addition to their $53,455 top prize, the Ukrainian saw a whopping $30,531 worth of progressive bounties head their way for a total prize tipping the scales at $83,986. The runner-up, though disappointed not to be crowned a champion, has $60,304 reasons to be happy with their performance.
In true PokerStars fashion, you don't have long to wait before the next exciting festival gets underway. Running July 13-20, the week-long Mystery Bounty Series boasts $3 million in combined guarantees, including a $109 Main Event with $500,000 up for grabs, and a value-packed $11 buy-in Mini Main Event with a $125,000 guaranteed prize pool.
