A run is a series of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank. A set number of cards are dealt to each plainsta slotsyer at the start of the game, depending on the variant. The top card is turned face up to start the discard pile, & the remaining cards are arranged face down to form the draw pile. Rummy calls for dexterity, tact, and recall. When deciding which cards to draw or take up from the discard pile, players must consider the cards that their rivals have discarded.
