The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise is in the books, and over the course of the series 15 gold bracelets were awarded. The PokerNewsLive Reporting Team was on site throughout providing live updates, and during that time they caught some interesting and game-changing hands.

Here's a look at five hands of particular interest.

Hellmuth Bricks Combo Draw

In Event #5: $25,000 Dealers Choice Championship, it was Level 12 on Day 2 in a game of Omaha Hi-Lo when reporter Connor Richards wrote a big hand.

As recounted by the table, Aaron Kupin opened preflop and Phil Hellmuth called. Kupin continued on the flop of 893and called a check-raise from Hellmuth.

Hellmuth bet on the 2turn and Kupin raised to put the "Poker Brat" all in. Hellmuth called.

Phil Hellmuth: AAxJ10x
Aaron Kupin: AK22

Hellmuth had a combo draw but didn't improve as the 9bricked off on the river to mark his elimination.

He was eliminated right before dinner break, but he had already eaten a sandwich earlier in the event as cameras crowded around to see him take a bite.

Seiver Goes Runner-Runner to Crack Negreanu's Aces

In the same tournament, it was Pot-Limit Omaha when Richards reported that Daniel Negreanu was all in for around 200,000 against Scott Seiver in a heads-up hand of Pot-Limit Omaha and he brought the selfie stick out.

Daniel Negreanu: AA93
Scott Seiver: AA84

Both players had aces but it looked like Negreanu could freeroll his way to victory as the flop of 2Q7gave him a flush draw while giving Seiver a whole lot of nothing.

However, the board proceeded to run out 48and Negreanu gasped in disbelief as he saw Seiver had made runner-runner two pair to mark his elimination. Negreanu rushed to tell Eric Wasserson what had happened and quickly bought back into the event.

Quads for Keating

On Day 1a of the $25,000 Super Main Event, it was Level 8 (8,000/16,000/16,000) when reporter Josh Noy witnessed Alan Keating move his last 66,000 into the middle from under the gun and Felipe Ketzer made the call on the button.

"Yes," Keating exclaimed as Felix Neubauer moved all in from the big blind. Ketzer smiled while sliding his cards to the dealer, leaving Keating at risk heads up.

Alan Keating: K4
Felix Neubauer: AJ

Keating found immediate help on the KKJ, making trip kings while the 7turn changed nothing. The dealer then completed the board with the Kon the river, giving Keating all of the kings while earning a double up.

Team Unlucky: Moneymaker Goes Runner-Runner to Bust Glantz

Chris Moneymaker

On Day 3 of the tournament, it was Level 23 (150,000/300,000/300,000) when Connor Richards saw Chris Moneymaker open to 600,000 in middle position and Matt Glantz three-bet jammed a stack of 1,950,000 from the small blind. Moneymaker called.

Matt Glantz: 1010
Chris Moneymaker: 98

Glantz was in great shape with an overpair to Moneymaker's undercards, but the flop of 793gave Moneymaker some hope. The 6turn gave Moneymaker an open-ended straight draw and the 10river gave Glantz a meaningless set as Moneymaker made the straight.

Glantz is a member of Team Lucky, pulled a million-dollar bounty at the 2022 WSOP and finished fourth in last year's Paradise Main Event for $685,000. Unfortunately, his luck has run out in the Super Main Event.

Mizzi Turns Two-Outer on Kempe. The River Will SHOCK You

Rainer Kempe

On Day 4 of the $25,000 Super Main Event, it was Level 28 (500,000/1,000,000/1,000,000) when Connor Richards reported that Rainer Kempe was all in for 7,400,000 from middle position against Sorel Mizzi in the small blind.

Rainer Kempe: JJ
Sorel Mizzi: 66

Kempe was in a great spot to double, but that changed as the board started 7436to give Mizzi a set. In a stunning turn of events, the dealer then put down the Jon the river to give the German an emphatic double.
