While watching your opponents' moves, give priority to forming melds early in the game. It can be dangerous to keep high-pointrammuy cards until you can meld them; if they don't advance your overall plan, think about throwing them out. Also, making careful use of wild cards can yield a big benefit. Sets or runs that would be challenging to accomplish without them can be finished.
